The concept of “new beginning” has always been part of the nature of our company: every construction site that opens, every order that is acquired, every small step forward, represents for us the beginning of a new journey, a new experience. For this reason, despite the difficulties caused by the effects of the health emergency, we found in the group the professional tools to react, grasping new opportunities.
In a historical and social context of great uncertainty, we were able to put the seal on consolidated partnership, finalizing the foundation of a new company, AP MONTAGGI YACHTLINE GMBH.
The new director Pasquale Chiriatti, former CEO of Level Project, was immediately very satisfied with the important goal achieved.
How was AP MONTAGGI YACHTLINE GMBH born?
The birth of the new company, based in Hamburg, was the natural evolution of a strong synergy between two companies (AP Montaggi and Yachtline Arredomare 1618) that have been collaborating for years both in Italy and abroad. Despite the various operating offices all around the world, it was important for us to oversee the German market even more consistently. For this reason, in June 2020, we formalized the foundation of this new reality that was born under the auspices of collaboration, of respect for the different professional skills and ambition given by company backgrounds of absolute importance.
What does the new company do?
AP MONTAGGI YACHTLINE GMBH operates in the sectors that historically belong to AP Montaggi and develops the activities that we have been carrying out on construction sites for over half a century. In particular, it deals with the conception, design, supply, installation, assembly of furnishings in the nautical sector.
What are the projects and objectives?
As always, our ambitions are very high. The main objective is to consolidate our presence in Germany in the coming months, establishing ourselves even more as a leader in the installation and assembly of carpentry and naval furnishings on yachts of all sizes. Now, 6 months after its foundation, AP MONTAGGI YACHTLINE GMBH can already boast two important construction sites in progress, concerning the preparation of all interior furnishings for Lürssen - Bremen and Lürssen - Rendsburg.
How it was to witness the birth of a new company in a historical moment characterized by uncertainty?
It was undoubtedly not easy: the steps that preceded the founding of the company took place in full lockdown and in a period in which not only Italy but the whole world was experiencing days of great apprehension and uncertainty. What motivated us to move forward, pursuing our goal, was the vision that has always distinguished us: we focused on future opportunities, on growth scenarios for AP Montaggi, because we want to be there at the time of restart.
