Mareterra
The Mareterra project, also called Anse du Portier, is a waterfront eco-district located in Monaco. Among the team of internationally renowned designers, architects and engineers, Renzo Piano stands out, who gave his name to the 17-story residence located in the far west of the neighbourhood, Le Renzo.
The name Mareterra is inspired by two elements considered complementary, the Sea and the Earth, which define the project itself. lt is a set of residential, cultura/ and recreational spaces, a real neighbourhood, mostly pedestrian, which is completed with shops, green areas and terraced houses.
In the heart of this residential complex, green spaces are designed to accommodate exotic vegetation with majestic trees and flower bushes. Mareterra in fact aims to create a new econeighbourhood in the Mediterranean Sea. The sustainable construction process of the project is subject to severa/ ecologica/ certifications in arder to guarantee the protection of the existing landscape.
