Hong Kong Museum
Located on an area of 13 thousand square meters on the western tip of the West Kowloon Cultural District, the Hong Kong Palace Museum includes nine galleries and presents over 900 priceless treasures.
Founded in 1962, designed by architect Rocco Yim, the Hong Kong Palace Museum combines traditional Chinese architecture with contemporary aesthetics. One of the main architectural attractions of the museum is the vertical central axis inspired by the central axis of the Forbidden City.
It includes two exhibition halls, activity rooms, a 400-seat theatre, a gift shop and a restaurant.
